About Me

Baxter is an actor working between London and New York City. He is currently in his fourth year of training at the prestigious Juilliard School, Lincoln Center.

Baxter has been acting professionally for over 10 years in Film, TV and in stage work in London, Edinburgh and other regional venues. He is recently known for his widely popular self-composed poem ‘Baby Elephants’ which was performed by Baxter at Juilliard Fall Festival 2024 and taped for Juilliard Studio Sessions.

Baxter is also a director and conceiver of new work. He wrote, directed and choreographed a dance-theatre piece titled ‘The Rainmakers’ with his collaborator Destinee Jimenez during his 3rd year of Juilliard. ‘The Rainmakers’ investigates environmental catastrophe through movement, poetry and music composed by Baxter himself. With the lessons learnt from this explorative workshop he is currently writing and developing a trilogy of films that will exist within the Rainmakers universe and will expand to reach new worlds of magical realism and political drama.

Baxter is also currently developing a supernatural horror feature script (Titled ‘The Problem of Mother’) which explores questions of reincarnation, hereditary, body image and sexuality. In his writing, Baxter is very interested in the inherent ‘magic’ of our existence and our larger relationship to the natural world, both the living and the dead.

As well as a writer and director, Baxter is also a musician. He creates electronic, synth-based work which he uses for his own creative projects - as well as composing popular alternative music. He sings and plays electric guitar and Saxophone; during September 2025, he premiered his song ‘Singing in Your Sleep’ at Joe’s Pub as part of a Public Theatre program.
